1. Once you're in the checkout screen, you can apply discounts to the sale.
2. You can choose to apply a discount (either dollar or percentage) to the whole sale, by selecting 'Apply Discount' in the actions box.
3. Choose your amount and reason, and select 'Apply Discount'.
4. The discount now appears in the summary box with the total.
5. You can also choose to apply a discount to separate parts of the sale.
6. Once you have discounted separate parts of the sale, you are not able to discount the sale as a whole (separate discounts must be deleted first).
7. To delete a discount, click on the cross button next to the discount.
